Bob and I noticed from the day we bought our house that their could be the possibility of opening up and vaulting the ceiling in one of the front guest rooms. 

If you look at the picture to the right you will see the room’s future ceiling behind the faux chimney.  We also wanted to open up the cavity that was behind the flat wall and have a place for either a bed or an armoire tv unit/etc..
